The Korean giants like Hyundai,Samsung,Daweoo are some what ambitious Why I am saying this because these name reflects some qualities like Hyundai(The Modern era), Samsung(Three Stars),Daweoo(Great Universe) which tells itself that they are ambitious.
Samsung began as a small noodles business in 1938 since then it has swelled the network of 83 companies that accounts to staggering 13% south Korean exports, Samsung Electronics which started out making chunky transistors is now worlds biggest technology firm measured by sales, it is now #1 in television making than any other company and it will soon replace Nokia in mobile handset market. The success of Samsung lies in there management team who always looked at long term growth and not short term they just identified the markets and made huge bets on them, they have smartly moved to LCD technology,Mobile markets which paid them handsomely not only this they invest huge amount in R&D($20 billion) for solar panels,energy saving LED,lighting,medical devices,biotech drugs and batteries for electric cars.
By 2020 Samsung group boldly predicts that it will have sales of $50 billion and they will have total global sales of $400 billion.
Hyundai on the other hand is Showing its strong presence all over the world.
