Fiat is in talks with Premier for supply of its most acclaimed diesel engine for Premier compact SUV RIO if rumors are to be believed then the Diesel Engine which Fiat will be going to supply to Premier will be 1.3 Litre Multi-Jet ,75 bhp Engine .Maruti , Tata Motors are already using Fiat Diesel as well as Petrol Engines in there cars which is a huge success in the market.
Mr. Rajiv Kapoor CEO, Fiat India automobiles said in the recent interview that they will be disclosing the number of Engines which they will be Supplying to Premier and the duration of the contract later.
Premier has re-entered into Indian car market after 4 decade with a compact SUV called RIO priced aggressively between 4.7-6.5 lac's they have created a new segment of mini SUV in the Indian market.
